Qatar Airways: The first airline to offer "full" vegan menus in business class
Qatar Airways, the highly acclaimed airline, has taken a significant step towards promoting sustainability by introducing a range of fully vegan dishes on its Business Class à la carte menu. As the first airline in the world to offer a fully vegan menu to Business Class passengers, Qatar Airways is responding to the growing demand for plant-based food and catering to the needs of a wide range of travelers.
Vegan dishes are made using locally and internationally sourced ingredients. They are available to all Business Class passengers flying from Hamad International Airport, the airline's hub in Doha. In addition, they are available on selected Doha flights. By offering passengers this expanded range of vegan meals, Qatar Airways is not only meeting customer demand but also reducing the environmental impact of its catering operations.

This commitment is reflected in the airline's vegan menu, which includes a variety of mouth-watering dishes, such as smoked mutabal, spiral courgettes and arrabbiata sauce, tofu and spinach tortellini, Asian barbecue tofu, noodles, scallions, and shiitake, fried tofu with vegetable tajine, cauliflower couscous and kalamata bruschetta, and chickpea flour omelet.
Designed with both sustainability and taste in mind, these vegan dishes showcase Qatar Airways' dedication to providing passengers with a high-quality culinary experience that is also environmentally responsible.
Qatar Airways' vegan meals can be pre-ordered up to 24 hours before the flight, ensuring all passengers can enjoy their preferred meal options.
Qatar Airways will also continue to offer special vegan meals on all its routes in addition to its à la carte menu, further emphasizing the airline's commitment to meeting its passengers' dietary needs.
