Zeytoon Parvardeh, an Iranian meal, has been named the world's most delectable vegan cuisine. TasteAtlas, an online travel guide for traditional foods, announced this. Zeytoon Parvardeh, from Iran's northern region of Gilan, took first place among the top 50 traditional vegan meals globally. The recently published list includes gastronomic delights from Turkey, Italy, Iraq, the United States, and India.

Zeytoon Parvardeh from Gilan province combines pitted olives with pomegranate molasses. It also includes ground walnuts, garlic, fresh herbs like cilantro and mint, pomegranate seeds, and generous amounts of olive oil. Typically served chilled, this dish is enjoyed as an appetizer or snack, often accompanied by lavash bread.

TasteAtlas, established in 2015 by Croatian journalist and entrepreneur Matija Babić, is a comprehensive resource for authentic recipes, food critic reviews, and research articles focusing on popular ingredients and dishes. It describes its platform as "a world atlas of traditional dishes, local ingredients, and authentic restaurants." Featuring an interactive global food map that displays dish icons in their respective regions, TasteAtlas claims to include nearly 10,000 dishes, drinks, and ingredients, along with 9,000 restaurants.
