“House of Vegan” caters to the increasing demand for plant-based cuisine in Dubai

Dubai is rapidly becoming a prominent hub for the vegan movement, according to Darren Awol, CEO of House of Vegan. With its diverse culinary scene and emphasis on food and beverages as a means to boost tourism, the city provides an ideal foundation for the thriving vegan market. This trend was showcased during the six-month-long Expo 2020 Dubai, where efforts to promote veganism came to life.

House of Vegan Dubai has emerged as a premier destination for vegan cuisine, catering to the growing demand in the market. The establishment offers a diverse range of food options, including protein substitutes, an array of fresh vegetables, and a delightful selection of plant-based dishes such as Bulgar wheat, Quinoa, Plantain, Coconut Dumplings, and Pumpkin.

As a fresh fast-food concept with an urban twist, House of Vegan Dubai's CEO, Darren Awol, entered the food industry after learning about the benefits of vegan diets. In London, he opened a Caribbean vegan restaurant called CariVegan. He expanded his culinary horizons after being exposed to a health-conscious community in Dubai.

"I believe that food is not just nourishment for the body but also for the soul. Our brand is committed to creating delicious and wholesome plant-based options that satisfy your taste buds but also support your health and the environment,"
Awol explained.

Dubai's vibrant lifestyle, including its thriving fitness community, contribute to the city's appeal as a hub for vegan food. As more individuals embrace healthier lifestyles, vegan options have skyrocketed.

Recognizing this growing interest, House of Vegan Dubai has established itself as a delivery-only service, ensuring its delectable dishes reach customers throughout the city.

House of Vegan operates delivery-only service from kitchens in JLT and Damac, and they have recently launched a food truck in Damac Hills. To celebrate their expansion, they hosted a launch event on June 4.
