"How Conscious Can A Fish Be?" Unveiled

Central to the event is Ryuji Chua's documentary, which peels back the layers of the underwater world, exploring the consciousness and emotions of fish. As a filmmaker and animal rights activist, Ryuji Chua has dedicated his craft to shedding light on animal ethics, including factory farming, animal sentience, speciesism, wild animal suffering, and veganism.

Ryuji Chua: Filmmaker and Animal Rights Advocate

Ryuji Chua, known for his work supporting prominent animal rights organizations like the Animal Save Movement, PETA, Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, and the Dolphin Project, brings a unique perspective to the discussion. His documentary raises crucial questions about whether fish can feel pain, possess intelligence, and are conscious beings. The film presents evidence suggesting that fish, like dogs, cats, and other animals, experience emotions, thoughts, and suffering.

Attendees are invited to immerse themselves in this exploration of the underwater world, gaining insights into the surprising consciousness of fish and the ethical considerations surrounding their treatment.

The event at the Rove Hotel promises an evening of enlightenment, compassion, and culinary delights, symbolizing a harmonious blend of consciousness and sustainability in the heart of Dubai.
