Qatar International Food Festival 2024 kicks off with bursting vegan delights

Presented by Qatar Tourism, the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) returns for its 13th edition starting February 8. Hosted in the Family Zone within the Doha Expo 2023 venue at Al Bidda Park, this year's QIFF 2024 promises a delectable journey for attendees with an explosion of vegan delights. Over its 10-day duration, each day unfolds under a new theme, ranging from vegan specialties and spices to wellness-focused fare, rice, grains, sides, and pasta.

Vegan culinary delights

Among the array of international vendors gracing QIFF 2024, Neat Burger from the United States tantalizes with American-style vegan fast food, while Egypt's Koshary AbuTarek showcases the flavors of authentic Egyptian cuisine. Qatari chef Noor Al Mazroei, fueled by a passion for cooking since childhood, specializes in crafting innovative vegan recipes from scratch to promote healthy living. With a mission to reimagine traditional Qatari dishes in vegan form, she also conducts menu development sessions, workshops, training programs, consultations, and evaluations.

Garden Zone: Visit the Garden Area at QIFF 2024 for a delightful experience amidst tranquility. Here, you’ll find an array of vegan treats curated in collaboration with Qatari entrepreneur Ghanim Al-Sulaiti, a passionate advocate for plant-based lifestyles.

Torba Market Zone: For those who appreciate artisanal delights, the Torba Market is a must-visit. Here, you’ll find fresh produce and locally-made vegan products that celebrate the flavors of the region.
