V-Label announced an exciting partnership with the Middle East Vegan Society!

The well-known V-Label, a recognized trademark for vegan and vegetarian products, has recently announced an exciting partnership with the Middle East Vegan Society (MEVS) to promote clear labeling of vegan and vegetarian items in the Middle East region. These two organizations will work together to encourage producers and sellers in the Middle East to adopt V-Label certification. This collaboration will focus on countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

V-Label provides certification for a variety of products to ensure they meet vegan and vegetarian standards. Through this partnership with V-Label, MEVS aims to support the increasing number of consumers in the Middle East embracing vegan lifestyles.

Martin Ranninger, one of the co-directors of V-Label, expressed excitement about this collaboration by stating, "We are thrilled to partner with the Middle East Vegan Society to further our mission of promoting veganism worldwide. By combining our expertise and resources, we can strengthen the vegan movement in the Middle East and provide consumers with greater access to products that align with their values."

This partnership signifies an achievement for V-Label as it continues its collaborations like those with Fundación Veg, which attracted over 50 Latin American companies last year.

V-Label logos are now featured on more than 50,000 products globally.

In the Middle East, there has been a growing interest in plant-based foods, especially following the pandemic, as they are seen as an alternative. MEVS is involved in promoting and fostering community initiatives throughout the region with the goal of inspiring individuals and companies to opt for plant-based and eco-friendly options.

By working together, we can amplify our impact and create positive change.”
